Kingsley Hughes has 35 years of high-level knowledge of the planning system and is acknowledged as a leading authority, being a public speaker and educator.

He heads up one of the south-east’s leading architect practices, having carried out over 500 projects in London and the south-east, and in addition he acts as expert witness at appeals where design is a critical consideration.

Also, he was for seven years a part-time university lecturer (one day per week), delivering the urban design modules within the university’s planning department.

He also has written planning and design guidance for Government and Local Authorities, and for 10 years he was the part-time design advisor to Greenwich Council Planning Department, helping them assess planning applications regarding what should and shouldn’t be granted planning approval.
